«The national strategy for preventing and combating anti-Semitism, xenophobia, radicalization and hate speech is an essential tool, especially in the current context where we are witnessing an intensification of conspiracy theories and revisionist messages, as well as their proliferation, especially in the environment online, of anti-Semitic, racist or xenophobic messages» stated the Head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery.

It is essential for Romania to have complete information about the extent of anti-Semitism, xenophobia and radicalization in Romanian society. In this sense, a range of meetings were organized between the representatives of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and those of the Diplomatic Corps, respectively of the institutions and structures with attributions in the field. The fulfillment of the 36 actions included in the Strategy Plan depends on the degree of involvement of all the responsible actors.
